My Story:

I come from a background in building practical, user-focused software that solves real operational challenges. Over the course of my career, I’ve leaned towards roles where I can blend technical problem-solving with a deep understanding of end-users’ needs. Working closely with legal professionals has given me a unique appreciation for how thoughtful technology can remove friction and increase both clarity and efficiency.

My core strengths lie in designing and developing applications that streamline workflows, organise information clearly, and reduce repetitive tasks. I’m comfortable working across the full development lifecycle, from scoping and UX thinking to backend architecture and implementation. Above all, I try to build systems that feel easy to use, and dependable, that genuinely help teams do their best work.

How I Help Clients:

Even though my work takes place behind the scenes, my focus is always on creating tools that strengthen the relationship between lawyers and their clients. By building systems that make communication clearer, information easier to access, and processes more transparent, I help ensure clients feel more supported and confident throughout their legal matters.

I love that Mercurae sees technology as a core part of delivering a better legal experience, not just a nice-to-have. Being part of a team where ideas are welcomed and processes can be reimagined feels both inspiring and energising. It’s exciting to contribute to a model that’s modern, thoughtful, and focuses on helping people do their best work.

Outside Work:

I’m based in Cambridge and usually commute into our London office a couple of times a week, which gives me a nice mix of calm and the buzz of the city. I grew up in Romania and moved to the UK for university, and that blend of experiences is a big part of who I am. When I’m not working, I love to paint, take ballet classes, and go for a swim!
